This falls under the triviality section of Free Thoughts and therefore cannot be moved to the Cesspool.

Here in Illinois there are these Cicada's, I was driving down highway 83 (aka kingery) when a Cicada flew into my drivers side window, smashed is more like it! The things guts kinda flew on my face a little after which I felt ill.

During my ride back I never believed it would happen to me again, after-all a splat like that happens only once in awhile right? Wrong... I was driving happily on my way when suddenly another Cicada came, only this time it flew inbetween my window jam and got stuck there! It was splattered again it's guts flying all over, but the carcus was left in my window as I drove 50 miles an hour down the road. I felt sick, infact I was gonna throw up... I had a towel so tried getting it off, the thing wouldn't budge.

I ended up using a tire gauge to move the dead body of the Cicada out of the window jam, what a sight... I felt ill and wanted to go puke.. end of story.

Now I keep my windows down.

Free thoughts = triviality? You will suffer the wrath of Absane for that........

Anyway I'd say it was a car attack, from the point of view of the Cicada.

The 17-year cicadas! I wish I could be there to witness that. I'm going to Chicago later this summer, but they'll all be gone by then.

One time I was driving up to Portland, OR, and for about 20 miles, there was this cloud of butterflies. I had to stop and wipe off the windshield because they were splattering all over. You could hear them thunking against the windshield as they hit. By the time I got there, you couldn't read the front license plate, because of all the smashed butterflies.

Eh.. I'm not in the mood. Wait until I have another craving for nicotine. I'll be pissed off then.

Once I was driving and a bug hit me in the eye at about 70 mph. Needless to say, it hurt. And the other day, a rock flew from under the wheel of a semitruck and hit me on the cheek...
