As the punishment is legally applied and seems appropriate, I have no issue. I do, however, have a serious problem with this paragraph: In the past 10 years, Davies has raped three girls aged seven or under, assaulted or committed sex acts on another two girls and was twice caught loitering in school grounds.Why in the hell did authorities wait so long?

Over the past ten or fifteen years in Australia the "bleeding heart liberals" have ranted in front of TV cameras about everything so much that the states and the federal government are worried about offending anyone. There are probably more organisations for prison inmate rights than for victim rights. If they'd grabbed this guy ebfore he did this, there would be morons screaming about rehabilitation and giving the guy a chance. Unfortunately these morons only care about their own philosophies, not the lives of others.

This guy is a good example of one that deserves the death penalty.
