Greetings...
Just wondering if any chess players out there can reccomend some good software. One caveat: I'm looking for a chess program that does NOT require actually having a disc in a drive while playing (unless someone also knows the no-disc cheat for the game as well).
TIA

Hiya Glaucon,
Chessmaster 8000 doesn't require the disc unless you want the in depth features. It is a cracking Chess program.

Hiya Epox,
Yeah it's great. I think I'll get 9000 at some stage but really there's enough in 8000 to almost last a life time.

Right on.
Thanks for the heads up guys.
I'm just looking to play on my laptop in the park. I'll be sure to check out the Chessmaster ware.
