I thought this would be fun.
I am hoping to start a good thread [for once] and I have titled it Character Description.

The goal is to describe people. I should start with a single character descriptor. I guess you can describe yourself, non't know.

My Dad
I've actually tried this one before.

Ok I change my mind. It is hard to describe people like I wanted to.
He sits in his chair at the time. His fundamental is to take control of others because of a fundamental lack in his own ability to be in control.
I've called him a mouse before.

lol
Mis-take. Delete this thread.

A good thread for aspiring authors of novels.

Most people are not interested in the nature of rocks or planets. They're interested only in comparing themselves with other characters in the drama of life.

You, for example:

"I thought this would be fun."

You are tentative and uncertain, yet you took the risk. Emerging strength.

"I am hoping to start a good thread [for once] and I have titled it Character Description."

Ruled by irrationalities, seeking examples of strong self-image.

"The goal is to describe people. I should start with a single character descriptor. I guess you can describe yourself, non't know."

Looking for a specific, personally significant identifier.

"My Dad"

Normally a good place to start. You don't have to be your father to define yourself as being like the best of him.

"His fundamental is to take control of others because of a fundamental lack in his own ability to be in control."

Like starting a thread to direct the course of a conversation and then saying "Don't post in this thread"?

"Mis-take. Delete this thread."

Then you'll miss out on an opportunity to look others in the eye and make it impossible for them to dismiss you as being just another of their peers.

Sport is nothing without friendly competition. ;)

:D
Agreed, but when your dad is an asshole....
And makes you feel like you can't be free and friendly....

"but when your dad is an asshole....
And makes you feel like you can't be free and friendly...."

Raindrops erode mountains, but mountains are mountains longer than raindrops are raindrops.

Be like a mountain. Your dad -- as asshole -- is just a raindrop.

Your dad, as loving parent and incompetent teacher, is like a rain squall.

The mountain remains the mountain. ;)
