If you legitimately own what you burned then just go back to the source...otherwise like my computer teacher in middle school always said, "If something's broke, your screwed."

Here's a link, which lists several free downloads for helping to recover data from CD's and other media.

If your CD is scratched, you could probably take it somewhere that sells CDs and get them to fix it for you--shouldn't cost any more than 5 bucks.

Best of luck!

If you have a scratched CD, you can get something like Game Doctor to see if it will help. Here, http://www.digitalinnovations.com/

If you have corrupted data, I'm afraid you are out of luck unless you were using a rewritable CD (CD-RW).

Do yourself a favor, buy some shielded IDE cables, try a slightly lower burn speed (like 12x instead of 16x, never do the maximum your particular drive can handle), make sure you get high quality media (like Imation or Memorex), and make sure you PC is clean before writing (don't have a thousand programs running in the background that are eating system resources, and make sure your drive is physically clean and free of dust). Also perform a scandisk, and preferably defrag before writing a CD.
