Sounds like a double standard to me. Why criticise Israel for being a Jewish state, if you're not equally going to criticise, say, Pakistan for being a Muslim state, or the US for being a Christian state?
As usual you have no idea about Israel , it is a Jewish only state , meaning only Jews have full citizenship , Jews worldwide have complete access to citizenship of Israel . Non Jews have secondary citizenship which can be stripped from them even if they are born in Israel . Pakistan guarantees the rights of of all non Islamic citizens , like in Australia , the head of our nation is the Queen of England who is the head of the Anglican church which puts us on the same par as Pakistan , a theological state , but we protect non Anglicans . Israel actively discriminates against non Jews to preserve its Jewish character .
There is a difference. I don't know about Pakistan, but Isreal is an official Jewish State. America has no official national religion.

Your making a generalisation that is not supported by any evidence. Fisk,Pilger has said in his books, that Palestinians have to travel for hours to get to work, whilst Arabian Jews can use highways built only for their use , while arabs have to suffer hours of waiting at checkpoints. Israel is the only official Jewish nation. Muslim majority nations have no problems accepting citizens of other religions as their citizens. Neither do many christian nations.Except maybe the USA, but thats understandable.. although not acceptable.
what palestinians? were talking about israel, were more then a million arabs are citizens with a right to vote. they steal, they fake their elections, they dont pay taxes, they can do almost everything they want beacuse the police is scared of them. they even have job and university security beacuse they are a minority(1 mil minority). dont feed me this BS you read in some book. arab israelis have more freedom then any jew in israel.
No, it's a Catholic state as you well know. The small area of land it occupies was not gained at the expense of taking other people's land and homes. It has no plans to expand and take over large tracts of Italy.
I'm not saying that the cleric's conclusions are wrong, and I don't doubt that he means well, but his argument has a gaping hole in it.
