Can anyone conjecture what the decomposition products of Activated Carbon in Perchloric acid might be? I know that ClO2 and Cl2 are going to be there in part but, i can find no literature to support that. All I can find, thusfar, are incompatability listings which only explain with a, "Don't!" not with a "because."
