Does anyone know the song with the lyrics "Johnny Boy, Johnny Boy... I can't get no round... Dancing the night away." I've tried every search engine and nothing has come up.

A coupld have told me of a song named "Danny Boy," but I think that is just a parody of the song I am looking for. :bugeye:

the only thing i can think of (and i'm probably wrong, but the lyrics sound somewhat similar when you sing them) is "Tubthumping" by Chumbawumba.

"Oh...danny boy, danny boy.. danny boy" = JOhnny boy
"i get knocked down" = i get no round
"pissing the night away" = drinking the night away (roughly the same meaning)

Chumbawumba is a UK band so their accents may have tripped you up on the lyrics maybe?
