We already knew this when they had the Congressional hearing right after 9-11. So nothing new learned here. Everyone knew where Bin Laden was but no one did anything to take him out from 1993 until Clinton threw a tomahawk missile at him 5 years to late.
I think the story specifies exactly what is new here. I've printed out the actual executive report, but I haven't read it yet. I'll post on it later...
Even if the CIA had a shot at Bin Laden, are y'all saying that they should have taken that shot without presidential and congressional approval for that action? Surely if the CIA had done so, y'all would be here, right now, bitching about the CIA taking such authority without ....the premission and approval of every person on Earth!! dropped the ball? the CIA couldn't find the end zone with compass and a detailed map. so you see it really doesn't matter if they dropped the ball or held on for dear life. they're still losers. they got boogers on the fingers of one hand and their brain in the other and don't know which goes where. if you shoot a CIA agent between the eyes in the forest does anyone care?
