That said, I really don't want you to go. I agree with about 30% of what you say, but our differences, aren't the issue. You bring some lively debates to this website and though you may piss a lot of people off, it's still fun to see what goes on when you stirr this nest of hornets.

Yes... you are a target for a lot of criticism. But I know you thrive on it. That the criticism gets personal is a beast that is, in part, of your own creation. Sandy, standing up for what you believe is tough... but it's not really all THAT tough in this place-- I mean... It's just a forum, right?

Beyond that, Sandy, even though no one on the left will admit it, You bring a lot of enjoyable topics to debate here. The heat is part of the fun. You know what the political makeup of this place is-- you should accept that and do like salmon do-- use the eddies against the current. But you don't-- you're like a bull in a china shop sometimes, which is fine, but you have to accept that sometimes the shop owners (and fellow customers) will get pissy. If you don't like that role, then change it, you can STILL express your conservative viewpoints in a way that is... ahhhh... easier to swallow. But again, I don't think that's what you want. You like being the target.

So why leave?

Also, please know that if you ONLY go to a forum where people agree with you, well then, you'll only be hearing parrots echoing your viewpoint. Is that what you want?

Okay, that post I made was stupid. Obviously, you have a much more general concern about what this place does to you. It's probably stressing you out. Maybe you feel like you're not accomplishing anything with your participation, or you're sick of having to defend every minute point you try to make. That's the nature of the beast, I'm afraid. I'd say you would probably be well advised to reduce your participation, or even eliminate it. I've already chosen for myself not to get involved beyond the occasional thought-provoking forays, even though I could very easily be sucked in completely. Do you have other mental stimulation you can rely on? Do you want to take your Sciforum friends and rely on them to stimulate you in a more respectful manner than a lot of people on here? If so, I'd say you'd probably be doing yourself a favor. Just do what's best for you, okay?

It's not just what you say but the choice of words and how you say it is like a common stereotype. If you check websites where white nationalists usually post, they use the same analogies of delicate flowers and references to purity(regarding those of their own race).
