Many in the government are saying that the odds of a second terrorist attack is near or at 100%. It's anyone's guess what will be hit next, NY again, LA, Chicago, a military base or embassies. Possibly even a nuclear power plant or the Hoover Dam. I don't believe that the terrorists are going to try any of the above, the most potent strike wouldn't be against a building or landmark, but something even more important and symbolic. Incase you haven't figured it out let me spell this out:
What if they try to assassinate President Bush?
It's a frieghtening aspect, one that needs to be adressed. Just imagine if JFK had been killed during the Cuban Missile Crisis, or FDR prior to Doolittle's Raid or D-Day.
My God I hope he's careful, if they pull that off we're screwed.
What if they try to assassinate President Bush?
It's a frieghtening aspect It certainly is in light of the way he has responded to the attacks on the WTC and Pentagon. He'd most likely spend the rest of his term in office holed up in Cheyenne Mountain pressing buttons.

Why?.... the event would be disturbing, I agree.... but I thought that the USA and the President were bigger than any one man.

He's a father figure right now and a leader more than anything. If they were to sadly assassinate the President then the US would be dealt a moral blow the likes of which occured on the 11th of September.

Let's hope that they're not sufficiently organised to arrange any further attacks. If they are, I hope that they too concerned with the Anglo-American hunting party after their asses!

I am not a doctor, nor am I even in the medical field. I am certainly not an expert on biological weapons. However, it seems to be somewhat self-evident to me that if a person or group possesses enough Anthrax spores to infect 3(?) journalist via US mail, then it would be irresponsible to assume that such entities do not possess enough(or the means to create enough) Anthrax to execute missions involving the mass deployment of such biological weapons. Anthrax does not grow on trees, so I do not believe that your average incompetant dumbass could safely aquire it. It seems, to me, that it would be very inconsistant for someone to possess Anthrax and not be adept at creating and/or deploying it in an effective manner. Judging by the difficulty one would encounter by even ENQUIRING on how to obtain Anthrax without drawing the attention of the FBI/CIA, I would think that even sending a few letters containing the Anthrax would simply be a stern warning saying "We have it, we will use it if neccessary, and there is nothing you can do about it."
