The media is trying to positively spin this fire every chance they get but I suspect it is far worse than we know.

Hey... you have to deal with some hazard no matter where you live. The Atlantic coast has hurricanes, the midwest has tornadoes, the north has ungodly snowfall, and California has fires and earthquakes. Dealing with them is as much a part of life as breathing.

I'm from the high north east. Have yet to see an "ungodly snowfall". You consider loosing your house to fires and/or earthquakes a "part of life"? We breath easier up here.
