It's not exactly a secret, but it's a lair. Sort of like a warehouse, with living facility within it. I figure this would go in steps. STEP 1: Fundemental Design (Please allow few seconds to load.) This particular design is capable of housing myself, and up to 6 subordinates. 1. Maid/Cook 2. Personal Assistant 3. Executive Administrator 4. Receptionist 5. Miscellaneous Worker 6. Miscellaneous Worker STEP 2: Acquire the site. Property (80ft X80ft). Should have access to water, power, high-speed internet. Vicinity should have large population of consumers to make money off of, state of the art fitness center for personal fitness, organic produce, barber, massage parlor, Super Wal-Mart, bank, Border's(or similar bookstore/cafe). STEP 3: Create a full plan of construction. There are various things to think of when thinking about how to go about constructing it. I have no idea how to do it. How do I connect it to local power, water, communications? What materials would I need? How would I set it up? How would air conditioning work? I don't plan to install any lighting fixtures. I guess you would start with the foundation, then the walls and roof, then install the windows/doors. How do I prevent leaks and floods from rain? Do I need a permit? Do I have to submit plans to local authorities for approval before building it? How can I maximize energy conservation?
What is the flaw? How is it over luxurious? It's just a bloody concrete box. It's not even made out of gold.

How can you have a secret lair without an army of minions? You need about 2000 of those 'Miscellaneous Workers', and they should all be armed with the latest in hi-tech weaponry. Order 2000 boiler suits too, preferably in grey or orange. You also need a swimming pool under your main working area, with direct access from above via a cunningly-concealed trapdoor. In the swimming pool you need a dozen sharks. Each shark needs a frickin' lazer beam on it's head. Think bigger.
As for location, consider the moon. You should also look into the possibility of acquiring planet-killer technology and familiarise yourself with the process of holding governments to ransom. In quiet moments, practice your demented, evil laugh.
A dance room? What the hell do you have a dance room in your secret lair for? Anyhoo, the whole thing should be underground in the first place, and near a geothermal vent. Use geothermal energy to get your heat and power. Where's your generator room? And where is your defensive weapons perimeter? This needs work.
lmao.. you beat me to it. A 10x10ft kitchen, cooking for 6 or 7 people sounds a bit shitty. The subordinates have to sleep on a platform in a big concrete box? Heating that space effectively might be an issue. The subordinates have a 5x8 bathroom next to their sleeping quarters and I assume they'd have to use the one downstairs, too. How would they safely navigate to the downstairs toilet with no lights and miscellaneous projects scattered around on the floor? Where would 6 people store their clothes, toiletries and personal effects? I notice there are no showers. Wouldn't a shower be more efficient and easier to clean than a bath?
I'm not sure yet. Likely Miami. If not, possibly Salt Lake City or somewhere with a large growing population. The kitchen is large enough. I don't plan on doing major feasts. The issue is airconditioning/heating. I know nothing about that, but would be interested in ideas on how to go about it. The 2 bathrooms are for the 6 minions. There will be enough lighting for the place. I'm not sure if anything will be scattered on the floor. I could set it up in pretty much any way I want. BTW, I plan to use cubicle dividors where necessary including for sleeping quarters on the platform area. The 6 minions can put their belongings in their living area which is the platform. All 3 bathrooms are equipped with showers. The fixtures depicted are just models to represtent what the fixture might look like. It can be considered luxurious, but it is the most practical solution. 6 employees is normal for many businesses. If I do not need that many, I will not use them, but 6 is the maximum capacity. The dance room is a studio good for many things not only dance. It is set up in the form of a typical dance room because of the mirrors. But it is good for all types of fitness, regearsals, meetings, and various studio activites. It might get too hot underground, and there is no lighting. It's not exactly a secret anyway. It was just a figure of speech. More like a private lair.
