Anyone's computer was infected with bugbear?

It is thought to come from Malaysia!

My computer is infected with Windows XP Pro at the moment.

What? are you kidding ?

Nope, not kidding. I really have windows. Scary, huh?

I keep telling people this. Windows is the most successfull virus there ever was. A pity the various AV manufacturers have not built a detection method for it yet. I suppose the problem is that as AV code runs nuder the Virus code it can't see it.

Mind you the latest Windows has got an inbuilt method so it can't just copy itself. Gotta love that activation feature.

A friend of mine caught Bugbear last week, he had to reformat his harddrive to stop it, reinstalling XP.

Now he running Suse.
