View Full Version : Bubonic Plague
TheVisitor 04-20-06, 06:14 AM There have been more than 1,000 cases of "mumps" reported so far; the bulk of them, 815, have been in Iowa. The remaining cases have been reported in seven other states -- Illinois, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Wisconsin.
Thousands are being infected (over 1000 in recent weeks in the U.S., and over 100,000 in the U.K. since 2004) with symptoms of this disease, high fever, swollen lymph glands, ect....are the same symptoms as weaponized bubonic plague.
This can develop into an antibiotic resistant airborn pneumonic plague.
A superstrain of antibiotic resistant pneumonia has also been reported "seperatly".
The so-called "avian flu" outbreak is reported to affect the lung primarily first and be antibiotic resistant, as opposed to infecting the sinus and throat areas first as other flu strains do.
Recent interest has focused in the militarization of Bubonic plague as a biological weapon.
Iran has enlisted thousand of young "martyrs" in it's war against the U.S. and the U.K. and has issued threats against the west....
"The arm of the aggressor will be cut off "
Foreign exchange students coming in from Iran flood Midwestern universities in the U.S. and the C.D.C. calls it an outbreak of "mumps", a disease which happens to have exactly the same symptoms at the onset.
Only thing strange is all the thousands of people being infected with this "mumps" outbreak have been immunized against the mumps, but it is having no effect on this strain.
The city of Los Angeles has reported the first outbreak in 22 years of bubonic plauge.
Y. pestis can affect people in three different ways: bubonic, septicemic, or pneumonic plague.
In bubonic plague, the most common form, bacteria infect the lymph system and become inflamed.
(The lymph or lymphatic system is a major component of your body's immune system. The organs within the lymphatic system are the tonsils, adenoids, spleen, and thymus.)
Could this so-called "Mumps" outbreak be a C.D.C. cover story to stop widespead panic and stem a political backlash before the U.S. attacks Iran...?

Sock puppet path 04-20-06, 06:32 AM Is this the record outbreak you are referring to?
Washington, April 19: For the first time in 22 years, bubonic plague has surfaced in Los Angeles with a woman being hospitalised for the bacterial disease, health officials said. The unidentified woman had been exposed to fleas in her house, the officials said, adding that it was unlikely that the disease would spread further. (http://www.indianexpress.com/story/2786.html)
TheVisitor 04-20-06, 08:12 AM It won't be whats reported as "bubonic plague", but whats being called a Mump's outbreak at the midwestern colleges.

Weaponization of "Plague"
http://www.newscientist.com/article.ns?id=dn1380
What to look for;
To determine if an outbreak may be bioterrorism, scientists will look for the following characteristics:
-A large number of cases appearing at the same time, particularly in a discrete population (e.g., people from the same town, people who attended the same event)
-A large number of cases of a rare disease or one considered a bioterrorism threat (e.g., plague, tularemia)
-More severe disease manifestation than typical for a given disease and/or an unusual route of exposure
-A disease that is unusual in a given place or is out of season (e.g., a flu outbreak in the summer in the United States)
-Multiple simultaneous outbreaks of the same disease or different diseases
-Unusual disease strains or uncommon antibiotic resistance to an organism
Although some of these characteristics may be true of a naturally occurring outbreak, they will generally signal that the outbreak needs to be closely scrutinized.
The former Soviet Union weaponized the Plague.
How easy would it be for Iran to acquire this from Russia, when Iran has other new technology seemingly beyond thier means.
What has Russia sold them besides the swiming supersonic topedoes, and the radar avoiding multi-warhead ground-to-air missles Iran now parades on display...?
It's been identified as mumps, unless you claim the report is hiding something:
The source of the current US outbreak is unknown. However the mumps strain has been identified as genotype G, the same genotype circulating in the United Kingdom (UK). The outbreak in the UK has been ongoing from 2004 to 2006 and has involved > 70,000 cases. Most UK cases have occurred among unvaccinated young adults (3). The G genotype is not an unusual or rare genotype and, like the rest of known genotypes of mumps, it has been circulating globally for decades or longer.
TheVisitor 04-20-06, 08:41 AM People who have been immunized for mumps seem to have no protection from this strain.
It is spreading like wildfire on U.S. midwestern college campuses where everyone has been immunized against mumps.
In the over 100, 000 cases reported in the U.K. they may say they are all "young adults" who've not been vaccinated, which in itself is very unlikely, but in the U.S. thats not the case.
Can anyone say the words "Cover Story"......?
Surely the C.D.C. wouldn't do such a thing, would they?
mountainhare 04-20-06, 09:10 AM Usually I'd be quick to dismiss Visitor's rantings. And I'm still rather skeptical. However, THIS is quite interesting:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bubonic_plague#Third_Pandemic
On 2005-09-15, ABC News reported[2] that three mice infected with the bacteria responsible for bubonic plague apparently disappeared from a laboratory. The mice were unaccounted-for at the Public Health Research Institute, which is on the campus of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and conducts anti-bioterrorism research for the United States federal government.

QuarkMoon 04-21-06, 06:16 PM The fact that people who are becoming infected have already been immunized is pretty sketchy. But the way they are explaining it, is that the immunization may not be as affective for as long a time as they thought. However, I haven't heard any news saying whether or not any of the people being infected were recently immunized.
IMO, Immigrants and those visiting from overseas should be required to pay for their own vaccination against a number of diseases.
I mean FFS, we have ignorant people refusing to get their children immunised, due to
"OMGZ its not natural!!" or "OMGz tis TEH consspiraccy!11!"
and bringing diseases like WHOOPING COUGH to Australia.
I mean WHOOPING COUGH, FFS.
Get over your fear of needles and medicine, and get your child immunised.
Sorry, I appear to have started a rant about immunisation, but do you think its a fair argument? That People who come from other countries should pay for their own vaccination?
Clockwood 04-21-06, 08:00 PM The plague is endemic in groundsquirrel populations and has been for hundreds of years. Every so often, it spreads to people. In the same way Anthrax, a natural soil bacteria, out of the blue appears and hits a few people.
Industrialized countries have little to fear of the plague specifically. We have treatments for it.
Its countries on the ass end of the world with populations in the stoneage, like Iran, which have more to worry.

Don't worry, Donald Rumsfeld will make sure his company, who gained the government license to produce the drugs to fight it, makes a lot to get a nice chunk of change from all of us.
Bird Flu: real, man-made, or overhyped? Either way, big bucks goes into Donald Rumfeld's pockets over all of this.

Rumsfeld's growing stake in Tamiflu
Defense Secretary, ex-chairman of flu treatment rights holder, sees portfolio value growing.
October 31, 2005: 10:55 AM EST
By Nelson D. Schwartz, Fortune senior writer
NEW YORK (Fortune) - The prospect of a bird flu outbreak may be panicking people around the globe, but it's proving to be very good news for Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld and other politically connected investors in Gilead Sciences, the California biotech company that owns the rights to Tamiflu, the influenza remedy that's now the most-sought after drug in the world.

Donald Rumsfeld makes $5m killing on bird flu drug
By Geoffrey Lean and Jonathan Owen
Published: 12 March 2006
Donald Rumsfeld has made a killing out of bird flu. The US Defence Secretary has made more than $5m (£2.9m) in capital gains from selling shares in the biotechnology firm that discovered and developed Tamiflu, the drug being bought in massive amounts by Governments to treat a possible human pandemic of the disease.
More than 60 countries have so far ordered large stocks of the antiviral medication - the only oral medicine believed to be effective against the deadly H5N1 strain of the disease - to try to protect their people. The United Nations estimates that a pandemic could kill 150 million people worldwide.
I call it over-hyped mass hysteria to fill his pockets just as Cheney stands to gain from all the exclusive Haliburton deals, and Bush, Rice, and quite a few other people in his adminstration from oil.
Ah yes, and Tom Ridge, former head of Homeland Security, when he needs a spike in Home Depot sales whenever doomsday fear gets put into people to stock up on supplies when the Homeland Security threat level is raised much-like Rumsfeld when we need more mention of the "OMG-it-might-evolve-into-human-strain" "bird flu" to make people buy more of their stock from Tamiflu/Gileads, again, exclusive deal.
Who else isn't getting paid? Odds are another scare will happen that somehow involves the companies of which those are/were heads of so their pockets, too, get lined with more moolah, all the while more tax breaks are implemented to help em out even more.
It's unfortunate you can't spot a corrupt adminstration when it's right in front of you.

It takes money to make money they say, and people with money to invest, invest it where they see fit.
I don't see anything pointing to a conspiracy there.....sorry.
If anything, there could be a case of inside information.
You would invest in something you have confidence in, or expertise.....
No corruption required....sorry again.
Grow up, get over it, and start spending a little more time outside in the light away from dark rooms lits with monitor screens full of conspiracy trash.

Dude, he didn't invest money after this scare. He always had the money invested, just like Dick Cheney with Haliburton. Due to them being the ones in charge, their companies were given exclusive deals so they were making sure they were the ones getting paid.
There is no bird flu scare. Nothing to worry about. Donald Rumsfeld will make sure we don't forget though so we buy plenty of his Tamiflu to make his pockets bigger. It's all an over-hyped scare. If Donald Rumsfeld had nothing to gain from this, there would be no talks of this bird flu whatsoever.
Grow up, get over it
And join us over here in reality. You ignore facts that are right in front of your face.
People like you have no problem playing "connect the dots" when there's 20+ dots to connect to link Saddam with Russia, WMDs, 9/11, and Al Qaeda, which the information was also shown to be wrong, yet when it's blatantly obvious showing the heads of our adminstration gaining from all these scares, you don't believe it. Not to mention these same people ripping us off and gaining from all this were the ones to tweak the wrong intelligence to fool you guys into going to war.
Unbelievable.

I don't have to read any conspiracy sites. The info is right there for all to see. Heck, just read the regular news, and you'll see the information which I provided in my previous posts, which weren't from any conspiracy sites but from regular media outlets.
It's 100% fact that Donald Rumsfeld was head of the company that makes Tamiflu to combat the bird flu. It's 100% fact that his company was given an exclusive deal to manufacture and sell the drug. It's 100% fact that the government gave them a crapload of money to help produce it. It's 100% fact that Donald Rumsfeld stands to gain from a bird flu scare. It's 100% fact that Donald Rumsfeld has already gained lots of money from the bird flu scare. Why not keep the scare going and rake in even more dough?
There is no bird flu. It's a flu with birds, that's it. It's not going to be trasmittable between human. It's overhyped to make money -- simple as that.
And don't forget to wear your "cheap sunglasses"
Oh, and I get out quite often, thankyouverymuch, which is why I have my nice $150 pair of sunglasses right on my desk, in my home on the beach in Southern California, thankyouagainverymuch.

I find it amusing that you choose not to accept these facts given that you're one that follows and preaches end times prophecies of the bible. This would only help credit your looney beliefs. Bush is the president of a great nation.
Whether you like it or not, he does fall under the heading of the current "powers that be" which is a government setting in place by permission of God, as it has always been.
As for your laughing about "Jesus will come down to save us all"
Let me remind you of something concerning authority.
ROMANS 13:1-4
1) Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
2) Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
3) For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
4) For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to [execute] wrath upon him that doeth evil.

I prefer the Bhagavad Gita. Thanks. Or even Bob Dylan:
"How much do I know
To talk out of turn
You might say that I'm young
You might say I'm unlearned
But there's one thing I know
Though I'm younger than you
Even Jesus would never
Forgive what you do
Let me ask you one question
Is your money that good
Will it buy you forgiveness
Do you think that it could
I think you will find
When your death takes its toll
All the money you made
Will never buy back your soul"
-----------------------
"So now as I'm leavin'
I'm weary as Hell
The confusion I'm feelin'
Ain't no tongue can tell
The words fill my head
And fall to the floor
If God's on our side
He'll stop the next war."

If you want to get all philosophical with music....
I prefer Zeppelin's "The Battle of Evermore"
Some people think it's only about Tolken.
Seen on another level though, maybe it's about Armageddon....
There's only one "Prince of peace"
----------------
Queen of light took her bow
And then she turned to go,
The prince of peace embraced the gloom
And walked the night alone.
I hear the horses’ thunder
Down in the valley below,
I’m waiting for the angels of Avalon,
Waiting for the eastern glow.
The apples of the valley hold,
The seeds of happiness,
The ground is rich from tender care,
Repay, do not forget, no, no.
Oh,-------dance in the dark of night,
Sing to the morn - ing light.
Oh the war is common cry, pick up you swords and fly.
The sky is filled with good and bad
That mortals never know.
Oh, well, the night is long, the beads of time pass slow,
Tired eyes on the sunrise, waiting for the eastern glow.
The pain of war cannot exceed
The woe of aftermath
The drums will shake the castle wall,
The ring wraiths ride in black, ride on
Sing as you raise your bow,
Shoot straighter than before.
No comfort has the fire at night
That lights the face so cold.
At last the sun is shining, the clouds of blue roll by,
With flames from the dragon of darkness
The sunlight blinds his eyes.
--------------
What is coming to stop the wars, and make us all "one" is not the prince of peace....
It's something else impersonating the Savior.
The whole world will fall for it.
"And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world."
"Reality, is the wool that's been pulled over your eyes"
Haha, trying to compare words of Led Zeppelin to those of Bob Dylan? That'd be too easy..
Since you seem to love hard rock, it'll be more fitting to use Zeppelin's rock rival from back in the days, Jethro Tull, in our discussion. :)
Go ahead and rely on Jesus to save you from your armageddon you wish to bring upon all of us:
---------
"Oh father high in heaven -- smile down upon your son
whose busy with his money games -- his women and his gun.
Oh Jesus save me!
And the unsung Western hero killed an Indian or three
and made his name in Hollywood
to set the white man free.
Oh Jesus save me!
If Jesus saves -- well, He'd better save Himself
from the gory glory seekers who use His name in death.
Oh Jesus save me!
I saw him in the city and on the mountains of the moon --
His cross was rather bloody --
He could hardly roll His stone.
Oh Jesus save me!" - Hymn 43
---------
You're to rely on Jesus when he couldn't even save himself. Pity.
And a fitting follow-up:
---------
"People -- what have you done --
Locked him in his golden cage.
Made him bend to your religion --
Him resurrected from the grave.
He is the God of nothing --
If that’s all that you can see.
You are the God of everything --
He’s inside you and me.
So lean upon him gently
And don’t call on him to save you
From your social graces
And the sins you used to waive.
The bloody church of england --
In chains of history --
Requests your earthly presence at
The vicarage for tea.
And the graven image you-know-who --
With his plastic crucifix --
He’s got him fixed --
Confuses me as to who and where and why --
As to how he gets his kicks.
Confessing to the endless sin --
The endless whining sounds.
You’ll be praying till next thursday to
All the gods that you can count." - My God
---------
When you realize there will be no God or Messiah to save you from your self-created armageddon, you will move on to some other god to pray to in hopes of their beliefs being true.
Quite sad that many people are just giving up on humanity in hopes of some divine intervention to save their lazy asses. If I were your god, I would slap all ya'll silly for doing so and send ya to Purgatory.
To paraphrase your good book, "You reap what you sow." - Corinthians 9:6
I also find it amusing, a religious man as yourself, choosing to quote the words from two Satanists, lol. Perhaps you ought to move in with Robert and Jimmy into their mansion they purchased from Aleister Crowley. With the three of you, ya outta have no problem conjuring up more Bush hellions to bring us all closer to your much-wanted armageddon.

Indeed. And while He's making an appearance he might write up an explanation of why 'love your neighbour as yourself' doesn't translate to 'Stone the gays!1!' and 'Rape the Muslims!1!'

Never said I was a religious man.
Religion is a tool for war.
I'm against organized religion because it is the mark of the beast.
You haven't understood anything I've said in 4 years of posting on this site?
It took forty years from the cutting off of the Messiah till Titus destroyed the temple and scattered the Jews.
It took forty years to get them into the condition to where that He could have them destroyed to all the nations.
Same now with the Gentiles.
He had to get them in condition before He could make His Word come to pass.
God sent them what He promised, what they are looking for.
But like He did with the Jews 2000 years ago, He came this time in a way they didn't expect.
The Word has been made manifest, to return back to restore the faith of the fathers back to the children again.
And they're so united and organized, they turned It down.
Now they are spiritual death.
Never said I was a religious man.
Well it sure seems that way how you like to quote scripture left and right.
Religion is a tool for war.
Agreed.
I'm against organized religion because it is the mark of the beast
You haven't understood anything I've said in 4 years of posting on this site?
However, why do you constantly insist it's the "mark of the beast" if you're not a religious person? Are you not religious yet still believe in what the Bible has to say? You continuously spout off passages from the Bible referring to the End Times. Can't blame me for being confused as to your position on this. And I quit reading and posting in the religious forum over a year ago, so I don't know how in-depth your position is on all this; all I can base it off of are your posts in the World Events forum.
