I for one fell asleep then had to rewatch it, there is no storyline and the way the 2 cowhands become 1 is beyond reason. I also was wondering, exactly where did the guy get killed? I mean is this freakin the dark ages, I ask you to show me someone that's been killed the way it's shown in the film, it's BS.

So no cops went to investigate? No law? wtf... it's ridiculious to me.

It wasn't either great or horrible. It was beautifully filmed and the acting was good but it was depressing. I loved the tent sex though. The crunchy dirt, the clanging belts, the thrusting and grunts, but especially the 'spit in the hand' scene!
I've seen ALOT of far worse films, BBM was just a sad story of the sanctioned violence and hatred of gay men in the USA.

I thought it was entirely depressing, but I guess I shouldn't have been surprised by that, considering who wrote the story.

That being said, it had some beautiful cinematography. I just didn't think it merited all the credit it was given by the industry.
