Dr. Who, good movies. Very well written. Bad special effects though. But what else are you going to do when your budget is $15?

For the 1960's it wasn't to bad for special effects. It ran for 26 years so something was done well.

In Australia, the ABC is currently re-running the entire series from the start. It will take a couple of years...

Hey, where have all the brits gone?

Dr Who was and is, classic slightly scary fnatasy SF. When I was younger I watched a few bits and pieces from behind the sofa. Whatever happens, when he returns, it should be written and directed by british Dr Who fans. AS for the 15 dollar budget, in a way, that was half the fun. Some of it was cutting edge back 30 years ago, and if theres no eye candy, you have to concentrate on the story more.

still here gutherie, but the younger generation will not put up with crap special effects. Any new Dr Who will need to be " state of the art". The thing to remember is that despite the constant repeats on cable and sky TV, and nostalgic memories, Dr Who was dumped because it's ratings had gone down the pan. We can't go back to the past!!!.

Then lets bring in the future!!:)
