I wanted to send my bestfriend to Iraq, but his boyfriend said that he's considered a weapon of mass destruction when he eats anything spicy:eek:

What I want to know is who Sean Penn thinks he is? I heard him come back and say "there are no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq". Oh that's right Seany boy. Because Iraq would of course show such a famous actor any weapons it had!

I have no problem with these people going to Iraq to see it with their own eyes. But to turn these trips into a political thing where you announce the 'truth' to the world is retarded.

Of course, the media will announce everything they say as if it mattered or held any weight.

What Bono is doing is using his fame to bring attention to the situation, and to use his fame to pass on a simple message: War is not the best solution; war sucks. He may personally hate Saddam, but dislike war.

He's just going to Baghdad so he can come home and tell people what he already thought before he left, while shouting down objections with comments like, "Have YOU been there? -I- have!"

I agree with Adam, I think its a good idea they are bringing attention to the situation. Doesnt everyone here want America to see from a different perspective? Maybe having one of our own tell us something different than what Bush is saying is a good thing. But I also agree with Captain, they shouldn't tell the world something unless they know 100% to be true. They are celebrities and they know weak minds with listen to anything they say and what they say holds alot of weight around they world.

quite frankly it doesnt MATTER what you think cause these are free inderviduals and they can do what they like
