My Second-most annoying thing about SciForums (the First being the annoying Saw-blade logo silliness...):

When reading through pages of threads, I have no choice but to perform numerous tiresome scrolls to get back 'up' the page so that I can hit the Main Page link. Surely we could have a 'bottom end' Main Page link???

There is a link at the bottom left of the screen named '- Top' that takes you back to the top of the current page. I don't think this is very practical though. A better quick fix is to add the Sciforums main page to your Favourites, ensuring that the name you give the link starts with a unique letter (eg you could call it 'X. Sciforums Main Page'). Accessing the main page is then just a matter of holding down Alt and pressing 'A' followed by the first letter of the link (X in my example).

The admin are unlikely to take up your suggestion since duplicating links on a page is generally considered a bit of a no-no.

It's inanely small... illogically grouped.... and off the page and onto the banner.

I agree, I think it's function is a bit pointless too. I'd be surprised if anyone ever uses it. It would be better to turn that link into a link to the main page.

Oddly enough, if you hit the "Science Discussions" link, that's exactly what it does.

I just stick SciForums on the shortcut bar on Firefox.

When you click on 'Science Discussions' link on the bottom (left side), that will lead you to the main page.
