I wouldn't really get philosophical information from the Internet. It might be better to visit your local library.

I am sure there are reliable sites.
I have all of the books on philosophy I am currently interested in. I would prefer internet.

Well, I don't know what area of philosophy you're interested in reading about. Politics? Metaphysics? Aesthetics? Perhaps you'd rather read about popular philosophies like Marxism, Buddhism, Taoism, Objectivism...

?

I'm sure there are thousands of credible and intelligable web sites out there.

Ya for this one you need to read real books. Most site are just "quote" sites cherry picking the best aphorism of the great minds.

Wittgenstein was pretty convinced he solved everything with one book huh? I Guess it's possible...

yeah wikipedia is where i read most philosophy online, truthseeker just posted a good link to me in the taoism thread in eastern philo section. i was reading it a little while ago,

i have only just started reading through the site but i like it so far. i cant really place it in a catagory, it has greek philosophy eastern consciousness theory, modern.
