    Enough "intellectual" crap.

Alcohol is the best and worst invention of all time. On that note, what's the best beer you've ever tasted? If you don't drink, don't post "I dont drink", for I don't give a rat's ass.

In my opinion, Guiness is definitely the best.

The stuff that made the best impression for a few years was the Arran brewery blond, or was it light? I cant remember now. Either way, i had a pint in the restaurant next door to the brewery, during a visit to the island to see the castles. It was excellent, very nice. The bottles I bought didnt taste half as good.
Real beer rules ok, lager is pants.

Archer's best bitter, the best ale around. None of your ponsy, puffy continental lagers, American flavoured tap water, or Australian urinal remains, this is real beer.

Archers by the way is a small brewery in Swindon, England.

In my current financial state, the cheaper the better. When I can get a 30 of Miller High Life for 9 dollars, you bet I'll shell out.

I had a 'Leffe' dark the other night, and it was one of the few beers I ever enjoyed. Quite nice...(Leffe is a belgium beer i guess)

Guinness isn't a beer you drink in the afternoon while sitting outside in the sun relaxing. Neither does it make a great socializing beer. IMHO

Of course, guinness tends to get drunk in groups in pubs, and in the country where guinness originated and some of its neighbours, sitting out in the sun to drink it isnt really possible.

Archers best bitter? I'll have to find some. Know anywhere in sheffield that sells it?
