You wouldn't happen to have Blood: The Last Vampire on DVD, would you?

I purchased it not long after it was released and was surprised to find out that the movie only lasted about 45 or 50 minutes when on the back of the case it lists the "Program Run Time" as 83 minutes. What is that all about? I really liked the movie but couldn't help feeling a little bit cheated.

I cast my vote for Cowboy Bebop: The Movie, by the way. The fight scene between Spike and Elektra (with the broomstick) and the later fight between Spike and Vincent were better than just about anything you'd see in a non-animated movie.

Cowboy Bebop, it's not only the best, but it's also fairly original, as anime goes.

My other favorite is Princess mononoke

Cowboy Bebop is the best Anime hands down. Two episodes in particular: Ballad of Fallen Angels and Black Dog Serenade. The series is just superior in writing, imagery, and sound. Those haunting melodies of music boxes and harmonicas are juxtaposed with the gentle choir songs and Japanese Jazz. Couple all this with the best space battles out there and it seems the obvious choice.

BTW, where are some of the other staples like Trigun and Rurouni Kenshin?

That was so hard! http://www.guru3d.com/forum/images/smilies/bawling.gif Akira was the great but Ghost in the shell is the best prediction of the future I have ever seen, it made blade runner look like metropolis(the 1929, non-anime version).

Blood:The Last Vampire was so beautifully animated it could make a grown man cry! Cowboy Bebop the movie was good but nothing special, there are more then one DBZ movie and I did not like Ranma1/2 the manga, or show and I don’t plan on touching the movie anytime soon.

Ghost in The Shell is by far the best anime movie I've seen. Its real intelligent complex sci-fi, which is almost never seen in a movie.

Akira was cool, and is probably the weirdest movie i've seen, but it wasn't as intelligent as Ghost in the Shell.

I liked the cowboy bebop movie but I agree with wellcookedfetus that it wasn't really anything special. If I hadn't already been attached to the characters it wouldn't have been as good.
Some of the cowboy bebop episodes on the other hand are really brilliant.

I would have added Titan AE (my fav. one), because of the story, the soundtrack, the design...

You seriously can be comparing original and amazing Akira to a cliche, overdone, plot of Titan A.E.

Yeap, as (for me) Akira is the worst thing I've ever seen (including movies).

Dude...dude...dudeeeeeee are you serious....ok i'll admit it was a little long and the killing kind of gets tiring nearing the end but the movie was amazing...brilliant. Any move that i still don't understand the plot of after watching it 3 times is great because it is a challenge to me now. I found myself forwarding Titan A.E just to get to the bloated, amazingly predictable, and quite propostrous end. I guess we see movies differently.

I don't have seen so much anime movies, so I guess that there are better one (Titan AE had a good soundtrack...).
Oh, and I didn't talk about things such as Shrek or other new animes... It seems to be off topic here.
