I am now returned from my banning, a process that's becoming a tradition for me on Sciforums. It is ironic that members are banned here for posting criticism of moderator abuse in a part of the forum which distinctly says 'Site Feedback'. The official reason for my most recent ban is 'interfering with an administrator's decision'. What? How does a lowly, powerless forum member 'interfere' with the 'decision of an administrator? It defies belief.

I guess that you'll keep finding out the limitations as you keep pushing the wrong buttons.

I would hazard a guess that for one you question the decision of the administration, not so much because the decision is questionable but because you want to generate drama/controversy. That might not have been your objective however that's how it can be seen by making such complaintive threads about moderation etc.

'Interfering with a decision' could be as simple as:
reposting a thread that's already been removed because of a violation.
Overriding a Moderator/Administrator edit.

Obviously as mentioned before a couple of weeks back, there is a chain of command that people should deal with if they have complaints and such chains do not involve public complainant indulgences. I mean look at Microsoft, do you see a Feedback forum for all complaints relating to their Products and Services???

No you don't, the reason you don't is because it undermines what their products and services are about because if one person has a qualm/complaint they could potentially undermine their sales/services through the sheepish lemming panic of "Rumours".

In essence if you had a problem with their company you take it up with their customer support, failing that someone higher up the infrastructure and perhaps further still legally.

Here at sciforums it's much the same, if you have a problem with a Moderator, your best expressing the problem with a Super-Moderator or Administrator so the problem can be dealt with unbiasedly. Entering into communication with the moderator you have a problem with will just cause more problems.

If you have a problem with the administration well there's not much that can be done, if they see you at fault for something then they obviously have a reason and your only option is to approach them directly through Private Message to try and sort it out. Publically posting Complaints/Moans/Whines and creating threads to generate Drama/Controversy is not the way to deal with the problem.

Your post while long, is completely irrelevant to my comments and situation.

It could be assumed that your thread is completely irrelevant. I guess the shortest of relevant questions would be:
Are you making war or looking for peace?

How about helping me drink a bottle of single malt scotch?

I would, but unfortunately I don't drink alcohol.

It is ironic that members are banned here for posting criticism of moderator abuse in a part of the forum which distinctly says 'Site Feedback'.

A note to help against further confusion regarding Site Feedback:

Thread shouldn't be made without prior consultations with moderator in question or admin or supermod. Otherwise, it will be closed.

Thread should be made in SF Open Government forum only, not in Site Feedback (it's forum for technical issues with accounts and forum in general) or any other forum. Otherwise, it will be closed. (#1761971/5 (http://www.sciforums.com/showpost.php?p=1761971&postcount=5))

Additionally, I would add that "interfering with an administrator's decision" could easily include making ignorant protest topics intended to continue denigration of a community member. In that case, though, "interfering with an administrator's decision", as well as any number of other phrases, could easily be polite substitutes for "making an intolerable prig of himself for no good reason". I mean, you did invite a one-day ban (http://www.sciforums.com/showpost.php?p=1761328&postcount=34).

You know, there's a great song by Madness that goes,

I tell you I didn't do it
'Cause I wasn't there.
Don't blame me, it just isn't fair.
You listen to their side,
Now listen to mine.
Can't think of a story,
Sure you'll find me sometime.
Now pass the blame and don't blame me.
Just close your eyes and count to three—
(One two three)
—Then I'll be gone and you'll forget
The broken window, TV set

It wasn't me either, I'm just his mate.
He told me to stand here and watch the gate.
I've got a wife and three kids you know.
They'll tell you I'm straight, at least I think so .
I'm as honest as the day is long,
The longer the daylight, the less I do wrong.
Now pass the blame and don't blame me.
Just close your eyes and count to three—
(One two three)
—Then I'll be gone and you'll forget
The broken window, TV set.

Pass the blame and don't blame me.
Just close your eyes and count to three—
(One two three)
—Then I'll be gone and I'll forget
That what you give is what you get.

("Shut Up (http://www.musicsonglyrics.com/M/madnesslyrics/madnessshutuplyrics.htm)")

And you'll notice that nobody in that song stands up and says, "I was in charge, now, the ringleader. I set the standard, and they're just dumb ...."

So, really, man, what did you expect?

What? I can't speak for Plazma, but between asking for a one-day ban and then reinforcing the point by starting a separate topic, it seemed like you really needed a day off.

Feedback has historically been the place where these type of grievances are aired. I initially began that thread in the Politics forum, which you would know if you read my comments therein, and a moderator moved it here. So ban the moderator for disobeying the Sciforum diktat.

The is already another running thread on the same issue raised in the OP. Please use that one instead.
