Every time I try to use a custom avatar I get the same error message saying that no image could be found at the specified URL. I've tried over 100 times with different images and keep getting the same message. What is the problem? What do I have to do to use a custom avatar???

Oh wait, you mean Forum Avatars! Are you sure the URL you're providing ends in something like .jpg or.gif or whatever? And that the Avatar you've chosen is either 40x40 pixels or less than 19.5KB?

I'd imagine it would just be easier to download the picture to your HDD, make sure it fits the rules, and upload it straight from your computer. That's what I did with my current Avatar, and all others before it.
