I thought it might interest people to see this. This is the full list of guidelines given by the Australian Resuscitation Council. Not all of them are permited by the general public for first aid level treatment but alot of them are (note the section headings, advanced life surport is ambulance and above level skills), however all guidelines have been made freely avaliable to anyone in the interest of public awareness. http://www.resus.org.au/ you have to click on the link "ARC Guidelines" this site also includes the evidence (or at least links to the evidence) to surport the guidelines
