We already have an "R u American" thread. I think we need another mindlessly patriotic thread.
Aussies, stand up and be counted!

Australia sounds so much kooler than America. Dr Lou Natic 11-18-04, 03:34 AM I am australian but I don't want to check a poll option that has "oi oi oi" in it. slotty 11-18-04, 05:00 AM How many times must we tell all of you oiks. You are all Johnny Foreigner to us, gods chosen, The United Kingdom of Great Britain & Northern Ireland ! :D analbeads 12-29-04, 09:22 PM I wish I was Australian:( Will someone adopt me? Asguard 12-29-04, 11:03 PM slotty: you are all a pack of bloody poms who are going DOWN in the ashes oh ah glen mcgrath i say oh ah glen mcgrath slotty 12-29-04, 11:41 PM slotty: you are all a pack of bloody poms who are going DOWN in the ashes oh ah glen mcgrath i say oh ah glen mcgrath We shall see ;) Asguard 12-29-04, 11:45 PM BTW vslayer : loved the job the kiwis did in the cricket. Maybe you could have sent your under 16's i mean they couldnt have done any WORSE:p Gambit Star 12-30-04, 02:25 AM It would be great to hear the word Australian without "oi oi oi" or "cricket" or aye'n'shit in the same sentence ! If becoming more orkish and drinking excessive amounts of alcohol whilst fucking up this beautiful land by raping it and polluting the air makes us more patriotic, then Im not Australian !. Most of the people in our country (starting with me) have gotta grow up ! P.S - I love Australia Asguard 12-30-04, 02:47 AM can i ask you something then? what is a worse form of patiotisium, aussie aussie aussie oi oi oi, and surporting out sporting achivements or the blind flag saluting and "oath of aleagence" of the US? Im just as glade that no one is saying anything about crocadile dunde, the croc hunter, steve erwin or throwing shrips on the barby. When was the last time you herd an australian say that critising our leaders was "unpartriotic"? i am GLADE that our patritisum is limited to feeling good about the country as a whole and sports. As for the sport mainly talked about being cricket well how many people from other countrys care about aussie rules? I would be happy if someone talked about netball, i love watching the melbourne phonixs win and i love that sport too but its hard to watch when i cant get the ABC at the moment. As for rugby i HATE that sport (i am a melburnian who is living in adilade so rugby is at the bottom of my great sport lists) and i dont follow soccer. What other sports would you like me to surport? if you think im only about sports please read some of the other things i have written. I love this country altho i am disapointed in her right now for giving howard control of not only the house but the senate too. So basically please dont critisise me for liking to see the aussies beat the bloody poms and the Kiwis because i am not really as shallow as you seem to make out. Nor is james, or anyone else who has posted on here im sure vslayer 12-30-04, 04:46 AM i dont follow sport either, but theres nothing funnier than an aussie trying hoplessly to defend their sporting history against us |
