There's this funky test administered to sophomores by the military. I got my results back a few minutes ago. Suffice to say I'm fairly certain I did worse on it than anyone else in the school, and I am not exagerating. I may have written something down wrong (it's very technical). But then again I may not have. Who knows.... Heh...any thoughts?
Be greatful. If you had done well, the military would NEVER stop hounding you to join. TRUST me. -AntonK
ASVAB stands for Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery. It's a test administered to basically find the knowledge and abilities you have for certain vocational and educational areas. As with all standardized tests, take the results with a grain of salt. Not only is this test adminstered to high school students, it is also administered to those seeking to join the armed forces. Certain careers in the military require certain scores on the ASVAB. For instance, to be a marine corps engineer, you must have a Mechanical/Maintainence score of 100, which is calculated from your scores on different sections of the ASVAB. Search around the internet, there's plenty of information about it. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! KV
pshhhhh hahaha i scored a perfect on the asvab as a junior cause some recruiter wanted me to take it. Basically that means i didnt miss a single question. Haha they do get on you but im like piss off. It makes me laugh! :m:
It was a very easy test. I think you are just letting your nerves get the best of you. I can't remember my score, but I recall the recruiter telling me I scored high enough to choose any AIT I wanted. You seem like a bright guy. Don't worry about it, I am sure you did fine.
