Asterisk?

Just out of curiosity, is the asterisk appearing in the active user list significant?

Right now I see asterisks for Avatar, One Raven, and Ripleofdeath. There was also one for 2inquisitive when I posted the topic. There is no asterisk for Tiassa on my screen.

I'm pretty sure I'm not maintaining a buddy list; I'm also sure that I'm not ignoring these folks.

It shows that we are invisible to all but the moderators and admins when logged in.

 

I didn't know that I set myself up as invisible.

so, when you are using invisible mode the mods can see that you are logged in?
they can see what threads you are viewing?

 

I like that we can now see IP addresses too, along with the google earth image of the location, and old photographs from driver's licences.
