Why do some people never ask questions yet others like me ask too many questions?

I was just about to post a question to ask why battery’s leak. I changed my mind, as I am really not interested in why they leak, I just wanted to ask the question for the sake of it.

Yet on the other hand I know people who live their lives and almost never ask question of anything, even important issues.

What are the fundamental differences between these two extremes? How do you get by when you don't ask questions? Why do some people feel the need to ask too many questions?

I think people who don't ask questions could be scared of knowledge and the opportunities that knowledge opens up. After all, I think knowledge and the asking of questions gives you a better insight into reality, something which not everyone wants to face. On the other hand, it could be that they just want a simple life, no questions asked, so to speak.

Those who ask questions constantly just have a thirst for knowledge that they can never quite quench. This is a good trait to have as questions challenge and expand the mind. They provide knowledge that gives depth to a person and enables them to develop personally.

Since I am a question asker too, I find it difficult to understand those who don't ask questions or seek to learn. In fact, I sometimes think of such people as 'surface people' who are only interested in what they know and nothing more. And I don't mean this as an insult . . . after all, it's whatever rocks your boat!

yes you have them , and you also have the ones who answer questions ACCORDING to their own established worldview

a good example of tis is to be witenssed at these very forums. we hae a grup of pople who claim to be scientists, but really they are not. they ARE proslytizers for thier faith, materialist philosophy. so when hey ask questions it HAS to be within that remit. anything otside it is called 'woo woo', 'crackpot', 'whacko', etc by them

surly when we ask questions we have to keep openminds

HI ALEX.U'RE RIGHT.SOME PEOPLE ASK QUESTION MORE THAN OTHERS.U SHULD BE HAPPY TO FALL IN THE FIRST CATEGORY.YES BECAUSE IT'S ONLY BY ASKING QUESTIONS AND BEE INQUISITIVE THAT WE LEARN MANY THINGS.THERE ARE MANY REASONS WHY SOME PEOPLE DON'T ASK QUESTIONS
    1. SOME PEOPLE ARE JUST LAZY AND DON'T WORRY ABOUT KNOWING
    2. SOME PEOPLE ARE A SHY AND THEY FEEL ASKING TOO MANY QUESTIONS MEANS U'RE DULL,THEY DON'T KNOW THAT TO BE INTELLIGENT U NEED TO BE EXPLORATIVE.
    3. SOME PEOPLE THING THEY KNOW ENOUGH AND SO NO NEED TO ASK QUESTIONS
I MEAN THERE ARE MANY REASONS.IF THERE'S ANY OTHER QUESTION CONTAC ME.
