If there's a discrepancy between what is written on their immigration paperwork and their driver's license, take it up with the authorities. They have the duty to pick a name and stick with it. It's not the job of poll workers to have to sort it all out at the last minute on election day.
the problem here is that the names are way too tough and easy to misspell thus all voting done by them goes to null. This is an issue, but the suggested resolute is quite unreasonable as well as racist.
A previous university professor of mine always insisted at the beginning of every term to have the new Asian students take on English names, if not, he'd name them in class. That's a show of unbridled arrogance and megalomania. I thought it was humiliating, downright idiotic and unbecoming of a man of any intellectual achievement. Asians learn to pronounce our names, surely we can reciprocate.
