There's a picture of Area 51 at http://www.terraserver.com, if you just search for Area 51 you should be able to find. The website is ran by Microsoft so i am unware of the quality of the picture, its probably not all that good, but its a picture. If you watch The Discovery channel at all they have a special on Area 51 where they show pictures of the base. ------------------ -Lynx
I've heard alot of interesting stories about many people seeing strange objects over this non-existant base.In early March, I'm going to travel on 375, the extraterrestrial highway, so I can spend a day or so in Rachel. Missing renters In a past issue of Popular Science or Mechanics they ran an article on the moving of the skunkworks and base to another site. Several reasons were stated from too much in the public eye to better launch and security setup. In the past they have also ran articles on new theories for stealth planes, ect. Of course the government’s not going to let them publish any state secrets or military one’s either. But it is fun to speculate and chances are good that if they’ve put something into print then something else is there that is better. When it comes to state secrets then they are a closed-mouthed bunch. Need to know and all that rot. I’m sure that someone on this forum will be able to give a little more detailed info.

Big brother Talking of speculation and what is read in a common nationally issued mag is hardly something that the government or folks from MIB would come see you over. It would create more hassels than it would be worth to let be. After all, it’s just some spook rattling through his mouth. Besides it’s not like we’re passing photos and specs around. I just don’t think there is anything to fear from that kind of post. If there was, you couldn’t get a webmaster to put such an entry into his site. They’d be dealing with everything from IRS calling to power outages and unexplained viruses showing up. Anyway, it would be easier to not say anything and watch such a site for any signs of leaks on what is a reality. If you really know something and want to blab about it where else would you go? It was common at certain military training installations where sensitive subjects were taught, to let the trainees go into town on pass. But in town, at the more popular bars, would be those listening for any sign of leaks from the trainees. Those that kept their mouth shut never heard anything about it. Those that didn’t found they were no longer assigned to deal with the sensitive equipment, may have faced jail or worse. So, I’m not gonna hold my breath and jump at the next shadow. I’m sure that those who do such can separate who are in the know from those who are guessing. No matter how shrewed that guessing might be. Thanx for the acknowledgement of the avatar.
