View Full Version : Are you a terrorist?
Godless 04-26-06, 02:06 AM Texas panphlet given to train it's citizens and cops on how to spot terrorist is so vague, that any one who; wears jeans, has kids, uses cell phones, has e-mail address, buys video cameras, appears as nice guy, could be a potential terrorist!.
These idiots are loosing it, and our freedoms in this country are seriously going to be undermined.

QuarkMoon 04-26-06, 02:41 AM According to that pamphlet, I am in fact a terrorist. I expect the FBI to be at my door any second now...
The Devil Inside 04-26-06, 07:02 AM damn...i didnt know i was a terrorist either....
i guess i should start building bombs then?
fucking texans.
PHDinPHP 05-05-06, 03:59 AM Especially levi jeans!!!!!
Large purchases of baby formula are terrorist trademarks. I suggest the CIA storm mothercare
thedevilsreject 05-05-06, 05:38 AM wow texans should watch out incase they are arrested because they infact have most of the characteristics of the described. foolish americans
PHDinPHP 05-05-06, 05:56 AM What i found really strange is that they bothered to mention that terrorist would try to buy large amounts of weapons. On that basis most of texas could be detained
The Devil Inside 05-05-06, 07:38 AM by and large, texans themselves arent much different than the rest of america...come on man!!
I don't know 05-05-06, 08:19 AM Large purchases of liqour, wine or beer? What the hell? :\
what you reckon its all about?
why would they give these ideas to people?
Godless 05-05-06, 09:15 AM *what you reckon its all about?
Paranoia.
*why would they give these ideas to people?
Fear is the best mode of control.

Tortise 05-07-06, 08:44 PM The only thing that concerns me is that I don't want this to be the next communism scare. ie If you don't agree with the current administration etc. maybe you're a terrorist. I don't want this to be used as a tool to persecute people who's opinions don't mesh with what is politically correct. Terrorism is a threat, but probably not as much as global warming is - but you can't use global warming to keep people in line. - Not that this is happening, just a possibility. I mean theoretically, someone close to you could show you how to make whistling pete's into explosives, or dry ice bombs, encouraging you -then do what ever they wanted to you, because who would trust you after that? Total control. Theoretically.

you don't think this is already happening? "support our troops!"
anyone who speaks out against the us militant agenda is automatically "against the troops" and therefore unamerican. how do you think bush won the last election? that and religious idealism.
Tortise 05-07-06, 11:22 PM I like to give people the benefit of the doubt and hope everything works out for the best. People have different views ect. but most people's intentions are good. - Still I like to consider all possibilities. As much as I don't like the current administration, to believe that they don't want what is best for America is a stretch. I try to look past my biases. Things sometimes look discouraging with the war, and the drastically differing views, but this time will pass eventually, and we will arive at a better place. So I believe that even those bloated, fat cat republicans are doing what they think is best, but some of us are able to look past our own interests better then others.

Tortise 05-08-06, 12:34 AM I just hope this nation starts the healing process. It seems like everyone is so divided. And if I could I would go be a medic in either Iraq or Afghanistan (how ever you spell it). I don't think you have to agree with policy to serve your country - it's sharing the burden. I worry about those guys over there and feel helpless to do anything for them - I think a lot of families feel this way.
I am sure this administration thinks its doing the right thing (well, except for all of the people who have quit [and thats a lot]), but a lot of people do bad things with good intentions. our government should have enough checks and balances to protect against such things.
however, it is not just the administrations actions that frustrated people, its also its blatant propagandizing of everything it possibly can. sometimes even blatant lies.
Buffalo Roam 05-08-06, 08:32 AM Glad you recognise what the democrats are up to.
Sci-Phenomena 05-08-06, 10:14 PM In conclusion, we see, that according to the information, we are all suspects of an untrusting government.

hmmm democratic freedom changing to democratic lock-down and no-freedom for the sake of safety, except in democracy u feel isolated from everyone. Whereas in communism u feel the lock-down and no-freedom but feel connected to everyone in that country. hmmmm.....what choice shall it be? AND NO I AM NOT A COMMUNIST. In fact i dont like either of those government types... people should wonder of by themselves like wild mooses....
Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death
give me safety and take my liberty
=/
I wish people were not sheep, but what can be done?
MetaKron 05-08-06, 11:44 PM Damn. Now I have to get rid of my GPS.
Mosheh Thezion 05-09-06, 03:00 AM I THINK, the pamphlet was very well written, and informative.
now... i as the average wacko, citizen, have in my hand, a step by step foundation for how i can get away with terrorism.. and what not to do.
.. yet... for public information, in defeating such activities, i think it is a good publication....
assuming the terrorist in question, is a well funded, dedicated moron with an alciada expense account.

Pssh, that's nothing. That pamphlet is a joke. But if you really wanna act like you're taking advantage of educational material posted by the government, here you go. Posted on the Department of Justice's website, the Al Qaeda Training Manual, for all to see!

Nice sense of, uh, security there.

guthrie 05-09-06, 06:48 PM I could be done for having material that would aid a terrorist. To wit, a 1960's chemistry textbook with the instructions for making gunpowder on an industrial scale. Who needs fertiliser bombs when you have gunpowder?
Darkseid 05-10-06, 12:59 AM It's Texas after all, what would you expect?
thedevilsreject 05-10-06, 08:43 AM well done darkseid the sentements of most non-rednecks
