1. Using PowerISO to convert a DVD9 retail into an ISO file without shrinking. Could there be any sort of regional encryption issues that would block me from doing that for certain DVDs? Is it necessary to have AnyDVD running in the background?

2. I have PowerISO. When I back up my DVD9 into ISO, I do not shrink them. I keep them at DVD9. Say I would like burn one of my DVD9 ISO files onto a blank DVD4 DVD. What can I use to shrink the DVD9 ISO file into a DVD4 ISO file?

3. I use Easy CD-DA Extractor for all of my music file conversion, CD ripping, and CD burning needs. Is this a good choice?

4. I would like to convert all my downloaded movies/videos into avi filetype. Is there any good program that does that? How can I create a playable movie DVD out of an avi file? How can I convert a DVD movie into an avi movie file?

Just buy the porn, instead of downloading it.

It's a pain in the arse to do.

Buy a DVD player that copes with divx/avi/mp4 etc. They're really cheap these days.

Alternatively, just connect your video card to your tv and create a 2nd monitor.

DANKE

Has anybody ever used Adobe Premier?
I can connect my Camcorder through my USB. All the drivers and everything are installed. I have never used Premier before, but I am under the impression it will do everything I need.

Capture live video from my camcorder.
Capture recorded video from my camcorder tape.
Edit captured video.
Save and convert between various video filetypes.

Sony Vegas is quite good too, and it is a lot cheaper.
