I'm doing a bit of shopping for the best software out there for audio file management; CD to MP3, WAV/WMA/MP3 file conversions, etc., etc.
Any suggestions? Don't mind paying a few bucks for it, but want something with all the features.
definately dBpowerAMP Music Converter -> http://www.dbpoweramp.com/
besides it's free
the page has a long list of codecs you can add to the standart installation, so the convert possibilities are ummm more than satisfactionary

CDex does all I want, and it is free! http://www.cdex.n3.net/
CDex can not convert to ogg or mpc, only to wav and mp3,
but it was my cd ripper of choice on windows

Thanks for the quick responses, I will definitely check those out! There seems to be a million of them out there so I figured someone else had surely had gone through the selection process.
I'd go for DB...as Avatar has said, its great to checkout that sites codec central
how much harddrive space do you have? it might be worth ripping the cd's to a second location using one of their lossless formats as a sorta backup of the CD, that way, should your MP3's get deleted or whatever you can simply convert the backup to Mp3 again, saves time finding the CD and re-ripping it...
