Anybody heard anything on a new Incubus album...such as when the hell is it actually coming out...it's been a while since "Morning View" came out?. Anyway what are some your thoughts on this band.

i heard there almost done with it, but arnt gonna have it out till after lollapalooza, and unfortunantly arnt gonna play anything new on lollapalooza for some reason, i find incubus to be amazing

Dammitt, screw Incubus, they're newest record wasn't that long ago. Finger Eleven people!! When is their new CD coming out? Anyone know for sure??

Incubus will be playing new songs on Lollapalooza (which for some reason is not coming to Toronto anymore, which pisses me off to no end), but more importantly, new f11 comes out on Jun. 17!!

Yeah apprently he did, he and Brandon had issues and he finally couldn't take it anymore. On their fan site it says he left after playing the last Morning View show on OCt 25, 02...or something like that. He has been reaplaced by The bassist of Jurassic 5 (i think it's Jurassic 5) Ben. They mentioned that he possibly has recorded at least 19 new songs with the band already. Well i hope their music doesn't change. :rolleyes:

You know that the album progress is coming along nicely when the record company makes a pre-emptive strike against internet filesharing.

Early indications are that the new album will be titled "A Crow Left of the Murder" and will include some or all of the following songs:

Pantomime
Zedeveel
Agoraphobia
Pistola
Priceless
Leech
Here In My Room
Smile Lines
Beware Criminal
Turbo Geek
Southern Girl
A Crow Left of the Murder
Megalomanic
Talk Shows On Mute
Made for TV Movie

But don't bother looking for illegal copies on the internet, it is apparent that the record company has taken steps to prevent any possible spreading via programs like Kazaa by flooding it with false versions (which all sound strangely similar to Drive...)

So, we are left with even more interesting titles to look forward to!

"The new album is done and mastered. It's called "A Crow Left of the Murder". It's got 14 songs, not 3 or 4. The first single will be released on Dec 15th and you'll either hear it on the radio or the web, or not. A video will be available on the web very shortly thereafter for you to look at, or not. It comes out Feb 3, 2004. Some will love it, some will hate it, but you'll all have something real to listen to and talk about.

"Sick, Sad, Little World" was previously known as "Turbo Geek". Also, "Pantomime", (Which could be Mike's "22 Minute Rock Odyssey") will not be on the final tracklisting.

I heard about it this mourning on the radio. I heard that there is a twenty minite long, funky psychedelic(sorta like Fungus Amungus cd) song that they are debating putting on it. I cant wait!!!!!!

You can hear 3 or 4 of the new tracks already (they are all recorded from live shows so they sound next to shit)

ive got nothing good to say about this band... somthing about the music is just so grating on my nerves

Incubus is okay. I've listened to some songs- they're easy on the ear. It's a somewhat good band, nothing outstanding.

...and then there are those of us who would give up anything to see them live just one time. The same ones that know about their albums coming out 5 months ahead of time. The ones that would easily trade a major body part just to get the chance to meet them once, face to face.

the new incubus single "megalomaniac" is incredible.. these guys have been my favorite mainstream rock band since '99, and they just keep reinventing themselves. their evolution from science to make yourself to morning view has been fantastic, and i can't wait to hear the entire new album!!

The entire new album kicks major ass. It's pretty tame, a little more "mainstream" sounding, but it definitely rocks with the Incubus vibe. I'm totally satisfied with it, there are some awesome hard songs, some sweet melodic songs and a couple of songs actually remind me of their funky earlier stuff...go download the album and then buy it!

Yeah..songs like Priceless and Leech remind me of their Fungus Amungus days.

Pistola is fucking incredible.
