So, I have been listening to a lot of Indie/EMO lately and was wondering if anyone has some good recommendations for some good Indie/EMO.

If you'r serious about it, then go Cursive...Bright Eyes and Further Seems Forever are also good recommendations.

Emo rocks. I actually have Bright Eyes in my CD player right now. I have one jug of wine, two vessels in right now.

I think I have heard a couple songs by Cursive also. I haven't heard of Further Seems Forever. Ill check that one out.

I don't really hear a whole lot of people on here talking about it, but maybe people hear like more mainstream (radio) stuff.

anyway it depends what you mean by indie. There's independant music and then there's things people like to call "indie" based on their feel. Which are you going after?

Check out the "On the CD Player / Turntable" thread, some people have very select taste in some artists...there's hardly much people with mainstream taste judging by the entries in that thread :D

And you gotta know Cursive man, you can't know Bright Eyes without knowing Cursive :cool: (it's like talking about Sparta and The Mars Volta without knowing about At the Drive In :confused: )
