Recent Proud purchase, Metropolis although it has a low age limit for a manga/anime film it's still got a good plot.

I've only seen the Dragonball Z that's on cartoon network.

It's in 3 parts (each some 1.5 hour) - main plot-
present day: one alien world king is killed but he managed to put his son on earth.
then there is big underground base of aliens in the us and they send metiorites from the moon to destroy military objects of the us defences .

There are creatures like in the Aliens movies and one is even a pet to one.

Those aliens look just like terrans but their eyes start to glow when they watch in each others eyes.

Oh, I only like hentai when it is actually of a GOOD series that has already been done without hentai, ie Pokémon hentai is always funny! And it's funny to see Vegita go SSJ3 when he's fucking Bulma, rofl.

Sailor Moon is already almost hentai if you watch the Japanese version, they have a couple... erm...

The 3rd Tenchi movie has a good plot, but it's not good for the kiddies because Tenchi is fucked by his "wife" (his grandfather's fiancée from years gone by that died, she put a spell on Tenchi and brought him to her dimension so he thinks they're married and in her dimension they are)

And when I watched Ghost in Shell, I was half asleep so I didn't get it. I always thought, before I saw it, that it would be a little bit like my Neo Productions... Brain fiasco, but apparently not ¬_¬.

Not quite so simple as I'd like it to be question(or ignore the preceding sentence).

I liked Escaflowne. I'd like to discover more anime. The problem is, I don't feel a need to have guts falling out, or tits. Escaflowne was good without the preceding, and so was Bubblegum Crisis, Robotech, and I'm sure there are others. Can someone give me the titles to these? Let me know if I confused you.

Anime will never die. Just too cool :cool: Especially Japanese anime, the artists that write the stories etc. The best. Most of them tell you a point, about life, something of importance. While many other anime are just a plain waste of your time.

I love anime just purely for the gadgets and technology ie Ghost in the Shell or Macross

Evangelion is probably the best Anime I've seen. Exellent story and they took the time to develop the characters. Very interesting indeed, with a little bit of everything to keep you interested (mystery, action, comedy relief, etc...).

I watched BLOOD recently.
Admittedly it was a very short film (if you were looking at film length, I would guess it probably stems out as a series.

Anyway the artistry merges normal Anime with CGI, so on occasion you have three dimensional scenes.
The film itself is worth a watch, just don't think "Buffy".

Death and Rebirth is good, End of Evangelion just made me confused as hell. If I remember correctly EoE is the recap of all the episodes and D&R is the one where.....oops was about to spoil the ending. This movie was very good. It kinda jumped at me with every emotion possible all at once. It really shocked me.

but if you looking for gore and sex, aim for 'B' movies anything with 'Evil Dead' in the title is uber for gore, and Troma pictures uses alot of skin

How can you watch Slayers? I saw the first episode on Monday w/ my Anime club, and Lina (whatever her name is) is so annoying! Her voice...it grates on my ears. And the captions always make me miss the punchlines. *pout* :D

I prefer watching the English language versions, so I don't have tor ead and can instead watch everything on the screen. What I like about Slayers is that the two main characters are quite powerful and dangerous, but they're also complete twits and are obsessed with food.

Yeah, I don't like the Ultimate Blue Eyes White Dragon either, but it was the only impressive looking monster that I could find, other than Gaia, Mammoth Graveyard, or Celtic Warrior. *shrug* My favourite is the Dark Magician though. :)

Speaking of starting clubs, do you (or anyone else here) have any ideas?? My friends and I want to start one (once again, purely for resume filler, heh), but it seems like all the good ideas are taken.
I wanted to start X-Ray, where we prey on human stupidity and tear apart society and pick at the ruins. My friend wanted to start Teen Species, but she has no theme, just the title. :D And my other friends wanted a Harry Potter slash club, another Anime club, a comedy club, a music appreciation club (already done), etc. It's definitely harder than it looks. :)
