I once had an animated icon that went with my name in every post. Then, I realized that those other people were using were irritating and distracting me. So, I decided I did not want to be unpleasant and discontinued it. I haven't used them since. To me, they seem a bit childish, like a silly kid trying to attract attention. Actually, when I see in the forum a string of one-sentence retorts filled with these jumping jack images, I escape fast without reading anything. Do others feel and do the same thing?
