An interesting development

    I was browsing through the senate red and i happened to come across a bill i thought was interesting (because of the date it was listed)

    "Rights of the Terminally Ill (Euthanasia Laws Repeal) Bill 2008"

    now why is this interesting?
    because the effect of this bill (if passed) would be to automatically reinact the euthanasia legislation in the NT which concidering the debate currently going on euthanasia is quite interesting

    Its a private members bill by brian brown rather than a goverment bill so it depends if the goverment will ever put it on the senate buiness list
