American hypcrasy on the egyptian election is quiet staggering
here is an election in wich a president, despite leading the most corrupt gov't in the middle east for over 25 years claims 80% vote with wide spread reports of fraud, the egyptian electoral commission it self admited 10-15% of the votes for Mubarak were probably fraudulant, despite all this Bush remains silent as a rat.

Yet was quick to accuse iran who's elections were far more transparant and fair.
Makes me wonder all this talk of democracy is realy a cover for american hegemony. Its clear America would much rather prefer a pro american dictatorship that an anti american democracy

You just now noticed all this? Well regardless, it's good you finally have. Let's hope more people will keep their eyes and ears open.

John, do you have any evidence or proof of your allegations of fraud in the election in Egypt? The following quote is NOT proof, but allegations: "...egyptian electoral commission it self admited 10-15% of the votes for Mubarak were probably fraudulant." Note the word "probably".

Anyone can make allegations or accusations, but it's not wise to do so unless one has some concrete evidence or proof. Otherwise, it's nothing but crap for the "scandal sheets" and "inflammatory posts" on anonymous Internet forums!

Really? Did the US find WMDs already in iraq?

Yes! Didn't you know?

I believe someone started a thread about it and even published pictures. They showed how extensive the WMD program was in Iraq.. what with it's dozen or so barrels of something or other, a cement mixer and two pairs of gumboots! It looked like a backyard shed, but apparently it was the discovery of Iraq's WMD program... :bugeye:

You didn't know that Saddam used chemical weapons on the Kurds? Really? You didn't know that??? If not, where have you been?

Wow, the American government is friendlier to its allies than to states that openly call for its destruction. What a shock. And Iran is hardly a democracy.

You should learn to spell "hypocrisy" for next time.

Do you have any proof of that? I mean real actual hard evidence, like a sample of the air from somewhere in northern Iraq that shows chemical weapons were dispersed there? I mean, sure the media widely reported it and all sorts of folks claimed it was so, but apparently no one is good enough an authority on anything for you to trust without examining hard evidence yourself, so come on max, where is your vial of real Kurd killing chemical weapons? Or are you embarrassed to show it off because it has "Made in America" stamped on it?

And further, you’re acting like someone is ill informed because, by your standard, they are ignoring the fact that Saddam did indeed have chemical weapons. This is intellectually dishonest, or you are yourself guilty of what you accuse this person of, because it is also just as common knowledge that Saddam was ordered by the UN to destroy his stockpiles of chemical weapons, and pre-invasion provided documentation proving that he did, and due to the lack of any such stockpile that appears to have existed in Iraq for as far back as our own united states weapons inspectors can tell those weapons were destroyed so could not have provided a pretext for war.
