There's no such thing as a "right" diet for humans. One of the reasons we have proliferated is because we can adapt to different food sources. We can process foods - e.g. by cooking - that would otherwise be inedible. If we ate only "natural" foods, there would only be a few hundred of us living in caves, or we'd be extinct.

Prove it. Could you quote a reliable research? Knows you the potato was toxic? how agricultors became it in a safe food? Coffee is a healthy food? isnt addictive? prove it. Not season vegetables are good enough as season ones? prove it. Wine is better than grape juice? prove it.
That's my point. Processing of one kind or another makes more foods available to us. Potatoes have been a net benefit to humankind. "Good enough", yes. "Healthy" isn't the issue. Nobody dies healthy. Food is better than no food.
