View Full Version : Al-Qaeda Rebellion within its Ranks
madanthonywayne 07-22-07, 11:33 PM Islamofascist Al-Qaeda terrorists have become so barbaric even their own members are turning against them.
Sickened by the group’s barbarity, Iraqi insurgents are giving information to coalition forces
“Al-Qaeda’s days are numbered and right now he is scrambling,” said Lieutenant-Colonel Stephen Michael, who commands a battalion of 700 troops in Doura.
A key factor is that local people and members of al-Qaeda itself have become sickened by the violence and are starting to rebel, Lieutenant-Colonel Michael said. “The people have got to deny them sanctuary and that is exactly what is happening.”
Disgusted at the attacks and intimidation techniques used on friends, neighbours and even relatives, they are now increasingly looking for a way out, US officers say.
“It is only after al-Qaeda has become truly barbaric and done things like, to teach lessons to people, cut their face off with piano wire in front of their family and then murdered everybody except one child who told the tale afterwards . . . that people realise how much of a mess they are in,” Lieutenant James Danly, 31, who works on military intelligence in Doura, said.
It is impossible to corroborate the claims, but he said that scores of junior al-Qaeda in Iraq members there had become informants since May, including one low-level cell leader who gave vital information after his arrest.
“He gave us dates, places and names and who did what,” Lieutenant Danly said. When asked why he was being so forthcoming, the man said: “Because I am sick of it and I hate them, and I am done.”

That's it. The tide has turned. To reiterate:
When asked why he was being so forthcoming, the man said: “Because I am sick of it and I hate them, and I am done.”
Iraqis are realizing what a Faustian bargin it is to team up with the Islamofascists. We need only make it clear we're there till it's done and we can finally finish this thing.
...it is a tactic of misinformation by the media. Misinformation of enemy weakness to gain trust/popularity in the name of cause.
Fugu-dono 07-22-07, 11:53 PM Using the media/spreading new to sow dissention in Al-Qaeda's rank. Classic military tactic straight from The Art of War. If it works then they truely are bunch of morons.

al-Qaeda is a master of media manipulation. Bush clearly isn't. If he were, this war would have been over a long time ago.
Fugu-dono 07-23-07, 12:19 AM ^ Agree Al-qaeda is nifty with using media. However if Al-Qaeda start breaking internally from this then they are not a master no!? That's all I'm saying.

You say that like they're not already morons...
Manipulation or not, the fact that we have people who have defected is still good and something that we didn't have before.

Was that the "al Qaeda" actor from Egypt or the "al Qaeda" actor from Saudi Arabia?
Probably just an artistic temperament.:D

Indeed. Let's hope this is just the begining and Iraqis turn on these savages en mass.
spidergoat 07-24-07, 08:46 PM It won't make much difference to the civil war in Iraq. Only Saddam's police state could have kept them out.
Great, can we go home now?
We? You never left home.
You're not part of the "we" you claim to speak for.
Why the urge to insist that everyone has to be a stay-at-home, adult-like person just like you?
It's a rhetorical question because I already know the answer.
Buffalo Roam 07-24-07, 11:14 PM It won't make much difference to the civil war in Iraq. Only Saddam's police state could have kept them out.
Fantisy, the Fact is that Saddam was offering asylum to known terrorist, and did support international terrorist organizations.
National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States
Iraq under Saddam supported international terrorist organizations to bolster Iraq's ..... (UK) Saddam was "thought to have offered bin Laden asylum in Iraq. ...

spidergoat 07-25-07, 12:16 AM Mr. G,
Why should I insist my friends not die for no reason? I guess I'm just old-fashioned that way.
Mr. G,
Why should I insist my friends not die for no reason? I guess I'm just old-fashioned that way.
There is no guessing that your "old fashion" plainly isn't up to competing head-on with a modern-day "old fashion" challenge.
Your "old fashion" is little more than pleading, "Please, dont hurt me, mommie!"
You can't even stand up to the "old world" bitch and knock her on her sorry ass.
Leave home, fly to Baghdad. Just the Green Zone, if that's all you're up to.
Tell the "We", for whom you presume speak, that you demand they return home, now!
Then do what they, the "We", tell you to do.
spidergoat 07-25-07, 01:37 AM Your logic is elusive yet surly. If I'm not serving in the military, why is it an act of cowardice to wish they weren't there?

Because of the reality of the situation thta you fail to face, If we pull out what is your Plan for the Security of the Middel East? What is your Plan for the Security of the U.S.? Will you take the Responsability for all of the death following a pull out of U.S. Troops from the Middel East?
Hell the Arab Leauge is even on the path to recognizing the Rigth of Israel to exisit;

JERUSALEM (AP) - The foreign ministers of Egypt and Jordan began a historic visit to Israel on Wednesday to formally present an Arab peace plan, saying they were extending "a hand of peace" on behalf of the region.
The ministers arrived as representatives of the Arab League, the first time the 22-member group has sent a delegation to the Jewish state. The Arab League peace plan envisions full recognition of Israel in return for evacuation of lands captured in the 1967 Middle East war.
"We are extending a hand of peace on behalf of the whole region to you, and we hope that we will be able to create the momentum needed to resume fruitful and productive negotiations" between Israel and the Palestinians and the rest of the Arab world, Jordan's foreign minister, Abdul-Ilah Khatib, said at a news conference with Israeli President Shimon Peres.

I hope they mean it.
Buffalo Roam 07-25-07, 09:21 AM I do to, it would be refreshing to see them do something that didn't kill thousands, but then Hamas and the rest of the Terrorist well?

the problem is the arab league indirectly responsibility for anti western propaganda, and particularly anti israeli propaganda, often referred as the "zionist entity", or the big(US) and little(israel) satan. until that changes, we shouldnt trust them with a blind eye.
