I've no reason to doubt the veracity of the incident...however, there's no proof that she's underage...the woman simply looks like a petite adult. As a matter of fact, the club in question does not allow persons under 18.

I'm in Trinidad btw, but I did not attend the concert...

I do agree however, that the display was tasteless.

Update: I was wrong...she's underage, simply looks older than she is...both the club owner and the girl's father have made comments on local media.

When everyone bought their tickets to attend this event, did they think they were going to see a live rendition of Mary Poppins? The blame shouldn't be put on Akon who did what he did to an underage girl that was at an event which took place at a 18+ club, but the parents for allowing their daughter to even attend the event, muchless listen to his music in the first place.
