    Hi,

My name's Robin, I'm 21 and from the UK. I like arguing and to be honest the forums I've been frequenting have been boring, dull and give me no oppertunity to debate. I was releaved to find this place.

I was just wondering what age distribution you have here, so if you've a moment please vote.

edit: I saw this poll on another site a while back... It got over a hundred votes, which produced a beautiful normal distribution curve. The average age for that site (xboxusersgroup) was 20-30 or there abouts.

I was thinking too much on whether to I use intervals of 5 or 10.

Appologies for not looking at the feedback section until too late, best off locking this up.

If you are 20 years and 3 seconds old you are between 20 and 30, not between 10 and 20, so there is nothing wrong with the way this poll is set up.

I'd also like to point out that your pool is not objective
there is a BIG and I really mean big difference between the intelligence of a 10 year old and 16 year old, not even speaking about a 20 year old

    Turned 17 in february.

And I'll just echo what Avatar said. It's sooo true. Looking back to the age of 10 (and even 15) I've noticed a significant difference in my level of reasoning. (And I'm not even being arrogant about it). Everybody goes through adolescent brain development. You'd probably have to be experiencing it (as in being consciously aware) of things like words or ideas that flood into your vocabulary every day. There's a noticeable example of this on sciforums (-most people are older than 15, here). Apparrantly, people will peak at the age of twenty two and then slowly go senile.

Old fogies like sarge probably can't remember this time of their lives

    I'm 19.

That's pretty old for a rat, though. I wonder what it is in rat years? Probably a few hundred at least.

So there. By virtue of my nickname, I outrank all of you.

I've been dead fifteen years, and all the messages being relayed online [to you] are merely commands I gave to a primitive A.I back in the late eighties, one that calculates the trends of large groups of humans and then sends messages to them. It also prefers to speak in the third person. Think psychohistory. You can find my grave here.

note: I didn't bother to read the poem very thorougly. I was reminded of the place by a comment from Jake Blues....
