since a few threads in this site seem to me to be a bash Africa and all black people (and Hispanics) thread, and i being black and haven't ever seen a place like this where people openly admit it (i'm kinda suprised), I got to defend myself and my people. :bugeye: lol.

I also got to defend Hispanics too until one shows up or speaks up on here. lol

okay so, How many have actually met people different from them and what was your experience (don't make stuff up please).

why and how do you justify racism?
what influenced your racist views?
do you live in Europe (country) or U.S.A?

maybe i can use this info in one of my school projects.

Met people different from them?....Everytime I meet somone who is not me, I meet someone different. So do you mean people with different ethnic backgrounds? or different races...because that doesn't make any difference...you can be a different race, and be no "different" from others. Example, I have a black friend who you wouldn't know she was black if you couldn't see her.

So I'll assume you mean people of different ethnicities. I'll start with my parents. They are Egyptian. They're quite nice people. Because they are immigrants, they do alot for other immiigrants to help them out. My mother is very involved in the "ethnic" community, so I go to a lot of "ethnic" events, which is fun. I know many Indians, Natives/First Nations, Africans, Chinese, People from the middle east, and others. They were all very nice, with lovely cultures and languages.

What are you trying to get at with that question?

As for your other questions: I don't think racism is justifiable. It is a stupid, but unfoutunatly very damaging sentiment from the back in the day which isn't gone yet...much like religion(sry couldn't help the jab). It isn't endorsed by the mainstream, nor by most.

I'm not racist, at least I don't think I am, unless you're the hyper sensitive type who will say I am racist because I said someone was black...but anyhow, nothing influenced me to be non-racist, just common sense.

I live in Canada.

i created two threads by accident. you can ignore this one. lol

yeah i mean different cultures, ethnicities and even race.
it wasn't targeted at you, Crazyfreespirit. It's just that some people have a very bad image of Africa and black peoples and i'm trying to know if they've had personal experiences other than what the media says.
I'm glad they aren't in the majority because i'm starting to see people here who don't share those views.

Good to know you've met "many Indians, Natives/First Nations, Africans, Chinese, People from the middle east, and others." and believe "They were all very nice, with lovely cultures and languages."

you can ignore this thread. i don't know how to delete a thread. lol
