ya'know there really should be a section dedicated to quick questions. anyway, here is my quick question:

I have a friend who wants to buy a book, I found some good deals online but I am always weary of buying things from websites. so does anyone know if these sites are trustworthy?

1. www.superbookdeals.com
2. www.thebookcellar.com

www.amazon.com is great. You can buy new books from them, or you can buy new/used books from other people right from the site. I buy all my school textbooks from there, its much cheaper!

Yeah, but the places I listed have this particular book for about $6 cheaper.(new)

You can call superbooks.com in the US at 410-964-0026. They also have numbers for outside of the US, along with an address. See their contact (http://www.superbookdeals.com/cgi-bin/contactus.cgi) page for more information. They seem legit, based on the contact information that they provide.

I can't find a phone number on BookCellar.com's site, but they have an office address (http://www.thebookcellar.com/main/about/) listed, as well as a warehouse address (http://www.thebookcellar.com/main/employment/).
