I heard that epistaxis, or nosebleed, can sometimes occur spontaneously, is this true? if so, how?

i don't know in what way they are really spontaneous since there seems to be an ultimate cause for all of them, be it dried out lining of the nose, or just plain picking of the nose.

my nose bleeds spontaneously, but no one's ever given a name for it. the doctors all said that it's simply hereditary...but they never said what. i've had my nose cortorized twice, but it still bleeds. the reasonS? i don't know, i don't pick my nose, i don't get into fights or anything where anyone could punch my nose, i don't have high blood pressure...i don't know.
