I have a bit of a problem. I got a bunch of new stuff (mobo, vid card, proc, and ram) for xmas. It worked fine for a bit, but now my ATA card doesn't want to cooperate. The drives on it appear to be fine in the device manager, but they won't show up in My Computer. I check out the Disk Management utility that comes with windows (diskmgmt.msc) and it says both drives are not initialized. When I go to initialize them it doesn't do anything. Also, when I try and add a partition to them, it doesn't do anything.

I have tried moving one of the drives off of the card and it works fine after initializing it, and undeleting the partition with partition magic (not sure why it would be deleted...but yeah...problems).

I have 3 HD and 2 CD-roms so I need the ATA card to be operational. Anyone have any clues as to what's going on?

Now that I think of it...this was the wrong forum to put this in...but yeah, I think they usually go hand in hand. Anyways...nobody knows what's going on?
