    That was hard. Not sure how long it took, but pretty sure it was over 2 minutes. I'll have my 3rd grade sone try it out.

    I have a feeling the title "a second grade question in China" is a hoax. Why would Chinese children be learning that? It's a ruse to make you think you aren't smarter than a Chinese child (which makes it subtly racist).

    You mean, can you work out how to do it in under 2 minutes? Answer: yes, for me.

    Once you've worked out what to do, you can do it in a matter of a few seconds.

    1 reset and about 30 seconds total. You just have to logically figure out what moves would screw you over and then do something else; at least that's how I worked it out. Would have been a pretty fun game to play when I was in grade 2, no doubt.
