When it comes to pants, obviously the low-riders have been the trend for the last few years. Now I'm seeing high-waist pants and jeans creep back in to the catalogs and websites. Personally, I like the low rise in work pants, but not so much in jeans. For some reason in wool, linen, gabardine, and silk pants it looks sexy to me. But when it comes to jeans, it seems to give most women a muffen top, at least. Now if the style goes back the late 70's, early 80's high rise pant line, that will help women with a bit of the muffin top look slimmer, but on a skinny girl, I'm not sure it will be that flattering. Thoughts?
I think you can't always go with what is the "top" fashion at the time. This also goes for the hairstyle trends. You can be trendy but you have to find what works for you body. You can buy the most up to date styles but if they just don't go with your body type, you won't be able to pull them off. When it comes to pants, jeans you have to try alot of them on, to find the perfect fit. It is so hard these day, the sizes and cuts vary so much from each company. I think you also have to consider your age. There are some things that you just shouldn't wear when you are over 30. Some women look like they are raiding their teenage daughters closet. I think it looks trashy. I have always tried to dress on the side of being Classy but trendy.
the low cut trousers were the pits, whenever a woman bent over you always saw her thong!! urgh!! i hated the low cut jeans, and i alwasy will, i like high top jeans, personally i think they look nicer and are just better more comfortable to wear! skinny girls like my daughter wears hign cut trouers and she looks great in them and she is very slim! size 8
Personally I don't like the high waisters or the very low riders which start somewhere below the bikini line. Typically I like to wear pants and jeans at the level of a sari, ie below the navel but above my crotch.
I'm tired of huge women with tiny clothing. It doesn't work. Please stop showing us your thong, Birtha.
It is kind of bizarre. Lets see, you have breats and an ass...ok, well so does every other female. Then you are confronted with the fact that women cannot walk around naked without risking sexual assault so lets just say that we are odd creatures. Rife with contradictions.
Yep. Women who wear low cut shirts and tight bottoms lose their right to complain about their breasts and asses being stared at.

These came in today for the little lady. I think they hit just above the hip bone, or at least that's what they're supposed to do. We'll find out. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! It still cracks me up to see the Charlie's Angels high waisted blue jeans coming back around. What's next? Leisure suits?

Something that more than a few SciForums guys are about to discover for the first time, and I hope it isn't too disappointing for them, is that the finest of the young girls are going to be dressing to deflect aging letches and attract the guys they want - they are going to dress as you don't like. It's a hard line to walk, but they'll manage.
Yah, I got her some Margo cut as well. I just hope that I remembered the right name. We went round and round at Christmas over which cut was right, and I get so confused. Those are nice jeans. Jeans with heels is teh sex.
You got her some? You actually go clothes shopping with her? You got confused? Do you really care that much?
No, I normally just buy online, but I had to go over to the store at Christmas because they were so behind at the distribution center that my order wasn't going to come in before Christmas. So I wound up buying twice as much as I intended, and she reluctantly took some of it back. They were a total disaster at Christmas this year...But I complained and got about $250 worth of coupons and credits.
